She's been a rockin' chick in the music industry for close to 20 years now and her style is ever changing and always unique. She began in Orange County California as a little punk-ska girl and has since blossomed into one of the greatest rock 'n' roll fashion icons of our generation. Even if her music is now all "bubble gum go pop" her style is edgy and daring. Here's a shout out to one cool mama who pushes celebrity style to a whole new and funky level.
Tragic Kingdom takes her to stardom
Early on in her career Gwen was more tomboy than glam queen. One stage she rocked white tanks, cut to expose her midrif, but you could see the seeds of glamour getting planted with her cherry bomb red lipstick and in the No Doubt video for "Don't Speak." Gwen's style was a perfect mix of tough-enough-to-rock-it-with-the-boys and girly girl. Little did she know then that her ability to jump between the two looks would cement her as an ultimate fashion idol and role model.

Return of Saturn: Out of this world pink and glitz
Gwen stepped into a whole new look for No Doubt's sophomore album, Return of Saturn. Gwen took inspiration from a charismatic music and fashion icon of the '80's, Blondie, and added color and glitter from the '90's fashion scene to create her Return of Saturn look. Before it was even trendy (currently Lily Allen), Gwen dyed her hair cotton candy pink and sported braces. She became a sex symbol while at the same time oozed little girl innocence. She was in love with Gavin Rossdale at this point and her look reflected that immeasurably.

Rock Steady Fashion
Once again, Gwen transformed herself when a new album dropped, while at the same time she wouldn't let her roots go. Once again, for Rock Steady, her style matched the feel of the album, adding some reggae vibe to her L.A and New Wave sense of fashion. Gwen began designing her own clothes for this tour, all depicting No Doubt and Rock Steady graphic words in red, white, and black. She's able to pull off the full on reggae punk look because she's not scared to have the attitude to match. Plus she's got those abs!

The moment Gwen stepped away from the boys she bacame a style goddess. All glam all the time. She embodied 1960's pin up for some of her videos and on the red carpet. When she portrayed the silver screen siren, Jean Harlow in The Aviator, her style bacame infused with sultry 1940's threads. She could really do no wrong. She was married by now, in the best shape of her life, and loving every moment in the spotlight. She knew how to take high fashions to a new place and others often followed her.

Love. Angle. Music. Baby and the Harajuku Craze
Gwen's first solo album was called, L.A.M.B and she began an entire flux in fashion with the Harajuku girls. She took on a new level of dress up and fantasy. For her video, "What you waiting for" she dressed up as Alice in Wonderland, but a whole modern Japanese vibe took over. She seemed to be an entirely different person for this tour. The Harajuku girls followed her every where, bringing much controversy her way, but she stood her ground and generated an original clothing line with the same title as her album. L.A.M.B is highly successful in the shoe and handbag realm, she's broken into the high fashion dresses and she expands her low fashion all the time.

She even looks amazing pregnant. During the pregnancy with her first son, Kingston, she set fashion trends that influenced all the other mommies in Hollywood. Here are a few of the amazing internationally inspired pregnancy frocks.
