I really thought that I would be done bashing Sarah Palin after the landslide loss her and Presidential Candidate John Mccain suffered during the 2008 Election. I would have been happy to let her slowly fade into obscurity, while fighting to retain any left over respect from the residents of Alaska for her re-election as Governor.
This was the plan, and I stood ready to execute it, if it hadn’t been for a few things that were out of my control.
She Keeps Talking !
No one is angrier than I that Conservatives, Republicans, and Palin herself continue to insult Americans, as they did during the Presidential campaign, by insinuating that we Americans are too stupid to make any decisions for ourselves and are dependent on “anonymous bloggers” and “the liberal media” to tell us what to do.
Could it be that maybe no one believed in, nor liked your platform, or what you stood for ?
Could it be that Americans are smart enough to see self righteous name calling, and arrogance ?
Could it be that American’s actually wants someone to run the country that has enough dedication to finish 2 years worth of college in 2 years ?
Let me tell you something about bloggers Sarah Palin. A Bloggeris a person who has created a web page to talk about stuff. Bloggers are from all backgrounds, education, and financial levels (or dare I say, a cross section of American Society). Bloggers are parents, factory workers, farmers, investors, home owners, college students and that’s right…VOTERS !
They don’t just stand in a crowd and applaud everything that you say, they are a moving target.
Don’t look at a blog as some anonymous writer who disagrees with you, look at a blogger as a single voter with a voice, that other voters agree or disagree with, and maybe one day you will understand America..all of it, not just that 1950’s “Good ole Joe the Plumber” image of it that you seem to have.
Palin is still unable to accept that the opinion that America has of her has less to do with Tina Fey’s Saturday night Live impersonation, and more to do with the words that actually come out of her mouth. Her opinion of the way America should be is completely out of touch with the world that the rest of the 350 million of us actually live in.
No one can point out hypocrisy like good ole’ Keith Olberman, while sending you laughing in stitches, and as the dust finally settled from the ass kicking that Palin/McCain took on election day, the chants of Palin in 2012, now seem more like a losing team saving face after a Superbowl loss, (”We’ll be back next year”) than that of words from reasonably intelligent people and political pundits who can actually say it without laughing.
