The royal - who recently split from his long-term girlfriend Chelsy Davy - had reportedly planned a midnight meeting with the socialite on Friday (06.02.09) but asked his bodyguard to cancel hours before they were due to meet.
A source close to Paris, 27 - who is in Britain promoting her new reality TV show 'Paris Hilton's British Best Friend' - said: "Paris had spoken directly with Harry to arrange their meeting.
"She was pretty annoyed that Harry blew her off but they may well meet on her next trip to London.
"She has been in touch with Harry since they met in London last year and has even had an invite back to his Clarence House home."
Meanwhile, Chelsy is reportedly planning a holiday with crocodile hunter Bradley "Jabu" Kirkland, who once branded the prince "a wet fish".
Harry is said to be horrified by the blonde beauty's travel plans and is determined to win her back.
A friend told Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Her holiday party will include Jabu. He's a shoulder to cry on and they are very close. Chelsy insists they are just good friends and says Jabu has a girlfriend at home. But there's a definite chemistry between her and Jabu.
"Harry and Chelsy haven't seen each other but it will only be a matter of time. Harry is taking the split just as badly as Chelsy. He is having to focus on his studies, knowing that Chelsy is out partying and that's hard for him.
"Harry knows she gets a lot of male attention and it rather annoys him. Chelsy stands out in the crowd and there are a couple of chaps up at Leeds that have their eye on her."
Harry, 24, is said to regard Jabu as a threat and was furious when the student joined Chelsy on holiday in South Africa in December 2007, while the royal was fighting in Afghanistan.
