
British actress Natasha Richardson, the wife of Liam Neeson, is in critical condition at a Montreal hospital after being severely injured in a skiing accident.
Richardson, 45, a member of the Redgrave acting family was taken to a hospital in Montreal on Monday following what is believed to be a serious head injury, People Magazine is reporting.The Tony-winning star was taken to Centre Hospitalier Laurentien near Mont Tremblant, which is a famed ski area, and then was transferred and admitted to Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal.
Natasha has spent her early years’ living in London and her mother Vanessa Redgrave, 72 the acclaimed British actress. Natasha Richardson has been married to Liam Neeson, 56, since 1994, and the couple has two children, Micheal, 13, and Daniel, 12. Natasha is set to star on Broadway in, A Little Night Music with her mother Vanessa sometime this year.

Update: There are reports including one from the NY Post that Natasha Richardson is brain dead. Be cautious as these reports have not been confirmed by official sources yet. She was not wearing a ski helmet when she was taking a private ski lesson and fell. Natasha was walking around and feeling fine for an hour after her accident, before collapsing.
