Warring bloggers Mario Lavandeira and Liz Silver are keeping their lawyers busy.
Lavandeira, aka Perez Hilton, sued Silver in Manhattan Federal Court Wednesday claiming Silver's been using the Web site, perezrevenge.com, to rip off his popular, trademarked name.
Lavandeira sued Silver and the companies that operate the perezrevenge Web site, which posts celebrity gossip items.
"Defendants have set out on a campaign to mislead the public in an attempt to financially profit from their malicious and intentional infringement of Lavandeira's trademarks" the suit said.
Lavandeira accused Silver of trying to cut in on the profits generated by his "famous and distinctive" trademarks.
Silver has a pending claim against Lavandeira for copyright infringement in the same courthouse.
Lavandeira won his legal showdown with Lindsay Lohan gal pal Samantha Ronson several years ago. Ronson sued Lavandeira for defamation after he wrote that cocaine found in Lohan's car after a 2007 accident belonged to Ronson.
